Spotlight add for "Howl's Moving Castle"...

This one was supposed to look like an add for one of my most favorite movies, "Howl's Moving Castle" by Studio Ghibli and Miyazaki Films. I needed to create a mask over top of my BG image and then have the unaltered image underneath that, The on the mask, I created a black motion tween that moved around like a spotlight. I really like this movie, so enjoy this picture :)

Experiment...

Here, we were supposed to find a picture and a BG and experiment a bit. I was supposed to have multiple copies of this, but ran out of time and had to move onto the next project so that was sad, but I like how this one turned out so, oh well. :) In this project, I found an outlined spacey-type plane and colored it in Flash, adding shadow and highlights and then turned it into a symbol (like i do with everything) and made it move along the BG.

Motion Guides Bee...

With this one, we had to try and make the object of choice (I chose Mr. Bee here) and make it move along a path. This process (the one that make that possible) is related to a certain function in Flash called "Classic Motion Guide." Like Classic tweening (or tweening in general), you must first turn the object into a symbol and then right click that symbol to add the function. After that, I just played around a bit and added a few things ;0

The Traced Bitmap...

In this one, we imported a bitmap image to the stage of Flash, used something called Trace bitmap to make it vector art, scaled it to make it super large, added my own version of a gradient background, and finally exported it as a .png file. Here was the final result, even though I'm not totally happy with the coloring, it works, I guess....

Multiple Images - Sasunaru Version...

This was an extension of the last post; we were to use the things we learned last time to make our own "Multiple Images." I used the pictures seen and on the top picture (the one that looks somewhat red) I selected the white parts that are now see-through and deleted them. The I made it a little darker with "Brightness/Contrast" and imported the background picture. In the background picture, I made it to my liking by sizing it up and saving it as a "Fireworks (.png)" file. Lastly, I took it to Flash and made it into a symbol and moved the pictures around, adding alpha and transparency in different picture to present what you see now.

Multiple Images Overlay...

In this post, we made use of a program called "Fireworks" which allows us to edit picture more effectively. In this specific one, I used Fireworks to edit the top picture (the grass land) and got rid of the sky by using the "Magic Wand" selection tool. Then I made the picture brighter by adding a bit of "Brightness/Contrast" and lastly I imported the sky clouds in the background and saved it as a "Fireworks (.png)" file. Finally, to make it move, it was "Imported To Stage" in the Flash program and manipulated. Each picture was made into a symbol and then I move them into the Motion Tweening stages of moving them around, adding Alpha transparencies, Easing in and out, and then editing the timeline around to make it into what you see now.

Made this in class when I was bored...

This one has nothing to do with the class, I was just bored so I played around in Photoshop. Hope you like it ;)
